I am The Sock Knitting Genius!

That's right ... ya heard me. I am The Sock Knitting Genius - Master of All That Is Knittable. I can leap small stacks of yarn in a single bound! I am more powerful than a Size 1 Bamboo knitting needle!!! I am woman, hear me roar!!!

I, one lone woman, have taken thread and 5 toothpicks and made a Pair of Socks! And not just a Pair of Socks .... they are a Pair of Socks Which Fit!! I am a genius, I tell ya, G-E-N-I-U-S!!!!

Take a gander .... pretty damn snazzy, dontcha think?!

(and hush it to all y'all that want to point out that a true Sock Knitting Genius would not take 2 to 3 months to knit up one pair of socks! This is my fantasy world and in it I am The Knitting Goddess ... and that's all there is to it. Lalalalalalala ... I'm not listening to you tonight, Reality, so you can just go away!!!!!!) :)

The socks look great. I only finished the first sock of my first pair, so you should be pround to have finished two, no matter how long it took.

Wow, I am so impressed. Yes, really I am. I am thinking that if you start now you could knit me a pair of socks for a Christmas present. My toes would be ever so thrilled, and I am sure that if I am lucky it might get down to 80 degrees by Christmas so that I can wear the socks too.

Good job. I am so proud. And they match too.

Thanks, Chrissy .. I AM proud. Because it was HELL, I tell ya ... HELL! Knitting ONE sock is bad enough ... but to have to knit a whole 'NOTHER one just to finish the project ... why that just plain ole sucks! :) But keep with your pair ... if I can do it ... ANYONE can do it!! Trust me! :)

Speaking of which, Sis ... you knit, right? How about I just wrap up the Sock Knitting Pattern and give ya that for Christmas??...lol. ;) (I'll take your request into consideration)

I am super impressed!

I had my first wrestling match with the double pointed needles this weekend - and have to chalk it up in the loss column - and it was only a little sweater for a Christmas tree ornament.

Socks just scare me!

I'm catching up on ya...since my fab trip to Kauai...and lo' and behold! You have socks!

Seriously, I almost fell outta my chair!

It's like you climbed Mt. Everest or something. Only no sherpas.

Dare I say I am almost finished with the ones for Miss K?

I am impressed with you starting another pair though.

I can't knit fast enough to get all the ones done I want to do.
