On the way up, she mainly hung out in her carrier...
But look at this view she had...
Of course, we get there to find this in the pet policy for the cabin rental...
Oops. Perhaps they should have stated that BEFORE folks got there! Just sayin'! ;)
And being the good law-abiding citizens we are, we did what everyone else would have done ... we snuck her in! (shhh .. don't tell! ;))
CJ's friends on the trip...
Here CJ is viewing our sleeping quarters...
She then wandered around to check things out. Safety first, ya know?!
Okay, emergency escape routes mapped ... she found time to sit and enjoy the view...
Her favorite part of the weekend .... the tons and tons of food....
The ledge above my bed CJ thought would be fun to sit on...
...thereby giving me a heartattack what with this being the drop off the other side...
I, of course, took no pictures of her up there ... scared that the flash would startle her into falling (who me? Paranoid?? Pshahhhh! ;))
CJ supervising the chaos from the safety of the stairs...
And finally, on the last day, this questioning look...
The drive home...
"Seriously? You need a license to drive? SHEESH! Well then I'll lay over here. But just know I can take over in case of emergency, k??"
And there you have it. CJ's Excellent Thanksgiving Weekend Adventure!

What about all the other stuff? Like all of us people and the dogs? The snow?? The fact that the oven was so small we had to BBQ the turkey...all the knitting...the drinking...and the thieving kids??
Humph.
Nice pics of CJ though.
..lol. Patience, grasshopper.
This post was CJ's adventure story. Ya know, kinda like The Sock's European Adventure post. The random weekend pics come tomorrow (if'n Blogger decides to behave better that is ... today it keeps dropping connection which really makes for quite the pain in the patootey when trying to upload pics!)
K? K! :)
Oh, what beoooouuuutiful snow! And CJ, she must love Thanksgiving what with all the leftover turkey. I am glad that CJ helped with the driving too. I bet she is an awesome map reader. What a cutie patootie!
loved cj's rendition of the happy thanksgiving weekend. it looks like she had a blast. do you think "turkey" will be her new favorite food word now?
