Knitting Olympics Makes Portland News

As does this blog! Which is just Crazy! (yes, with a capital "C").

You can check out the link to the article in today's Oregonian here.

Of course, my favorite quote doesn't come from the article itself but from the reporter in an email to me today. After reading the article, I had dropped Steve Woodward a quick note in which I said "We knitters are a crazy lot, aren't we?!".

He replied "Yes, crazier than I ever would have suspected!"

That just plain Cracks.Me.Up.

Because it's true.

Though I find that to be a good thing. (But that's probably just The Crazy coming into play)

Yes, but we are united in the craziness. What does the Harlot say? Knitters are a force to be reckoned with.

That's right ... we're taking over the world ... one muggle at a time! ;)

Congrats Kat! That's awesome!

I think the Seattle papers are ignoring us entirely. Haven't seen a peep lately.

I agree. You will of course have to deny everything. Or move to Denver! : )

I was so excited when I saw that article yesterday! Then I was all, "Hey, I read her blog!" And yeah.

I decided against the bunny (although I will be knitting two after the Olympics for my nieces). I do hope your bunny doesn't turn into a frog... but frogs can be cute!
